Jane Lackey

Jane Lackey works alot with a white on white palette and takes her inspiration from the bodys systems, looking at neoscience, genetics and patterns of speech and communcation. These result in map like structures. She works on paper, paintings and installation.

This are DNA structures, up close they have numbers embodied on to them, forming the DNA strands and coding.

I felt like these represented slides, something I've been looking into. The placement of these are interesting to, it's as if as a whole they form a cellular structure.
